t is a series of collages that, in their forms, resemble banners or emblems. I collect and keep any kind of paper from restaurant packaging, candies or chocolates, train tickets, and any other type of “waste”; I keep them to remember—it is an exercise in memory. Thus, in this series, “Stand Hard,” I recreate a play of overlaps and transparencies, using these “mementos” aesthetically as elements to present a form of self-portrait.
Wrappers from coffee and other products, stickers, drawings, trimmings, and designs, laminated in layers. By laminating the past—memories of places and experiences—I create collections of consumables.
